Job Overview
The HSE Advisor supports all onshore activities within the Oil & Gas environment by implementing, monitoring, and improving Health, Safety, and Environment standards. The role ensures that shore-based operations, logistics, and support services are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Provide daily HSE support to shore-based Oil & Gas operations, including logistics, warehousing, marine support, and maintenance activities.

Conduct regular inspections, audits, risk assessments, and safety observations across the site.

Develop, update, and implement HSE procedures, emergency response plans, and operational safety guidelines.

Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for staff and contractors.

Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and monitor corrective actions.

Ensure full compliance with client/company HSE policies, local regulations, and international Oil & Gas standards.

Maintain accurate HSE documentation, registers, permits, and training records.

Promote a proactive safety culture and collaborate closely with Operations, HR, and Management.
Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or degree in HSE, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.

35 years experience in HSE roles within Oil & Gas, marine, logistics, or industrial settings.

Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are advantageous.

Excellent communication, reporting, and training facilitation skills.

Strong analytical ability and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
